Why Volunteer at Muz Fest?
Volunteers are the heart of Muz Fest. As we prepare for our second annual celebration, we’re looking for dedicated, energetic, and community-minded individuals who want to help bring this day to life.
In 2024, over 2,300 people attended Muz Fest, and none of it would have been possible without our incredible volunteers. Whether you're passionate about logistics, youth programming, or cultural outreach, there’s a place for you on our team.
Volunteer Roles
Here are some of the roles we’re recruiting for:
Event Setup Crew – Assist with tents, tables, signage, and general setup before the festival begins
Vendor Support Team – Help vendors with check-in, setup, and needs throughout the day
Youth & Family Zone Assistants – Support youth activities and maintain a fun, safe environment
Stage & Performance Support – Coordinate with performers, manage backstage needs
Crowd Engagement Team – Greet attendees, answer questions, and keep the energy up
Cleanup & Breakdown Crew – Help us wrap up the event with care and efficiency
You can select your preferred shift(s) and roles when filling out the application.
What You’ll Get
All volunteers will receive:
A meal and snacks during your shift
Volunteer hours signed off (if needed)
A behind-the-scenes experience working a major community event
Our heartfelt appreciation and shoutouts on social media
Thank you party after the event
Requirements
Must be 17 years or older (under 18 requires parent/guardian consent)
Must attend one virtual orientation session the week prior to the event
Commit to a minimum 7-hour shift
Bring a positive attitude and willingness to work with a diverse team
